RUNGACTIVE ME-Low Temperature High Exhaust dyes are being introduced at a time when demand for Reactive dyes with higher grade of all-round fastness properties are increasing. By linking a chromophore and a reactive group through a special link, our Research and Development Department has developed this new range of dyes, which apart from being structurally different from conventional Rungactive dyes, offer higher grade of all round fastness properties including perspiration, light, chlorine and peroxide washing. These dyes have also an advantage of high degree of exhaustion and fixation rates, better alkali stability and excellent levelling properties. Because of low sensitivity to temperature and excellent alkali stability, dyeings are highly reproducible. Rungactive ME dyes react with cellulosic fibres at low temperatures and can also be applied by cold pad-batch methods, , hence dyes are real energy saving dyes.

Rungactive ME dyes can be easily rendered into solution by pasting the dyestuff with cold water and thereafter pouring over it hot water (80-90°C) with thorough stirring.
